Etner Family Dashboard
Privacy Policy

The Etner Family Dashboard is a private family organization application used to display and organize calendars, household information, family announcements, school-status summaries, meals, birthdays, countdowns, and approved display-device information.
Information we use
The application may process account information such as your email address and family profile; Google Calendar information such as calendar names, event titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, and related calendar metadata; household information entered into the dashboard; Family Academy status information available to authorized family accounts; and technical information needed to keep paired displays and authenticated sessions working.
Google Calendar data
When an authorized family administrator connects Google Calendar, the application requests read-only calendar access. Calendar information is used only to provide dashboard, calendar, birthday, and display features requested by the user. The application does not create, modify, or delete Google Calendar events through this connection.
Google OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored server-side and are not exposed to paired TV displays or ordinary browser clients. Stored refresh tokens are encrypted before being saved.
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized family members, retrieve and display selected calendar information, provide household dashboard features, synchronize family-facing information across approved devices, and maintain the security and reliability of the application.
Sharing and sale of data
The application does not sell personal information, Google user data, or family data. It does not use family information for advertising. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers required to operate the application, including Google, Supabase, and Vercel, subject to their respective terms and privacy practices.
Data retention and removal
Data is retained only as needed to operate the Family Dashboard and related family services. An authorized administrator may remove connected calendar credentials, household records, or paired display access when no longer needed. Revoking the application's Google access from the Google Account security settings will also stop future Google Calendar access.
Security
Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including authenticated family accounts, server-side credentials, encrypted Google refresh tokens, database access controls, HTTPS, and revocable device credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children and family accounts
This application is operated for a private household. Family profiles may represent children or other household members, but access to the dashboard is controlled by authorized family accounts and is not offered as a public service directed to children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
